Cooking Class Series - Gluten Free: Sunday, Oct 5, 10:00am - 12:00pm in the Fellowship Hall. Whether you’re new to gluten-free cooking or looking to expand your recipe collection, this class will give you practical tips, tasty ideas, and hands-on experience to make your meals both healthy and satisfying. Learn easy, budget-friendly gluten-free recipes. Get practical kitchen tips and tricks. Enjoy samples and fellowship with others.
Admission is $7 for singles and $12 for couples, and everyone is welcome! Please RSVP via the provided LINK to register; note that we need a minimum of 10 people to hold the class, so come hungry to learn and leave inspired to cook!

Unchained: Online Addiction Recovery Event, nightly until Sept 27 at 7:15pm. Join us for Unchained, a powerful online event designed to help you find freedom from addiction through God's help. Guest speaker Richie Halverson will lead this nightly series from 7:15 pm. This is a safe and confidential space to learn how to break free from the chains of addiction. Singles+ Day Retreat: October 11, 10:00am - 7:30pm. You're warmly invited to a very special day retreat for singles at Hiwassee Acres in Calhoun, TN. We'll be joined by guest speaker Ty Gibson, who will share an exciting and uplifting message on building relationships and making connections. This event is exclusively for singles ages 18 and up. The registration fee covers the seminar, lunch, a light supper, and activities. Space is limited, so be sure to reserve your spot today! Community Flea Market: Oct 19, 7:00am-5:00pm at McDonald Road Church. You're invited to be part of a community Makers and Flea Market, hosted by the McDonald Road Church Pathfinders. This is a great opportunity to sell your creations, find new treasures, or raise money for your group.

We have two options for sellers:
  • Outside spaces are $15—just bring your own table.
  • Inside spaces are $20, and a table will be provided for you.

Fall Festival:
October 26, 3:30-6:00pm, Church Pavilion. Celebrate the season with us at the CCC Fall Festival! Join us on Sunday, October 26, from 3:30 to 6:00pm at the Church Pavilion for a fun afternoon of fellowship and fall activities. We'll have delicious food like hot dogs, nachos, and apple slices with caramel for sale, along with complimentary popcorn, cotton candy, and fall beverages. Get ready for a variety of games and activities, including cornhole, face painting, pumpkin decorating, and a special musical performance you won't want to miss. Bring your family and friends, grab a blanket or lawn chair, and come enjoy some good food and great company as we welcome the cooler weather together. We can't wait to see you there!

Men's Bible Study: Wednesday nights, 7-8:30pm.  Ready to grow in your faith? Join the men of our church every Wednesday night as we discuss Melody Mason's book, "Daring to Ask for More." We'll explore the power of prayer and challenge ourselves to trust God for more, all while building strong bonds of brotherhood. Whether you want to deepen your prayer life or simply long for a closer walk with God, this group is for you. Click on this LINK to register.

Prayer Meeting: Wednesdays, 6:00pm-7:15pm. This weekly Wednesday study is meeting in the Connection Corner Room, #205 (second floor, across from the administration offices). Pastor Jerry Arnold is sharing an interactive Bible study from 1st Corinthians, with prayer and relevant discussions.

Vespers: Fridays, 7:00-8:00pm, Connection Corner. Open Sabbath with others at a casual and traditional vespers service with hymn singing, a devotional thought, and group prayer time.

Prayer Walk Group: Fridays, 10:30am, Studio Rm204. We warmly invite you to join us and share your gift of prayer as we walk the church grounds, lifting up our congregation in heartfelt intercession. This is a powerful way to minister to our church family with the blessing of prayer. For more information, please contact the church office.

Never Alone: Mondays, 6:00-7:15pm, Room C201: Mountain View. This group is to help provide support and hope to people with cancer in a holistic way by looking at a variety of approaches in facing a diagnosis and focusing on the reality that with God, we are never alone. 

CC Riders: The first Sunday of each month until October, 9:00am at Jack’s Restaurant in Collegedale. Kickstands up at 10am. CC Riders is an open group for all who have an interest in motorcycles. If you are a current or former motorcycle rider you are welcome to join us at dinners, or as a passenger on rides if you're not currently riding. Community Events


Evening Anthem Vespers:  September 27, 6:30pm at Chattanooga First Church. The Vasilios Quartet is the featured musical group for Evening Anthem vespers on Sabbath, Sept. 27.  The program begins at 6:30 pm at Chattanooga First Church.  You will be uplifted by the musical selections from the quartet as they share their love for our Lord at the close of the Sabbath.  Come and receive a blessing together with us!

African Violet Society: Please join us for the next meeting of the Chattanooga African Violet Society on Sunday, September 28, at 2pm at the McDonald Road SDA church.  Our activity this month is repotting.  Bring your rootbound and leafy violets to be repotted with TLC.

Forms


Educational Assistance Scholarship, (EAS): EAS for the 2025-26 school year may be
applied for by families of CCC who have financial needs and are planning to enroll their student(s) in a conference-sponsored, K-12 Adventist school within 50 miles of Collegedale (includes GCA). EAS applications are now available on the Church Center App, or on the Church Website. This form is only open from March 15 through June 15.

Financial Support to Non-Constituent School: This form is for the 2025-26 school year, for CCC MEMBERS to request $120 per month to subsidize the non-constituent tuition rate at GCC elementary schools where CCC is not a constituent church (Bowman Hills/Cleveland, Learning Tree/Dalton, Lester Coon/Apison, OAKS/Ooltewah, and Standifer Gap/Chattanooga).

CCC is a constituent church of the Collegedale Academy Schools (CAE, CAMS, CAHS). Members with students at these schools do NOT need to fill out this form.

Labels Make Cents: Help us raise money for the Conference Food Label Program for the elderly.  Please turn in the whole label on canned Loma Linda products. You can drop them off at the Welcome Desk or the 2nd floor, North Wing hallway entrance to Sabbath School classes. Thank you for your participation!

Volunteers Needed: Saturdays at 10:00am, Grades 4-5 Sabbath School Room. To comply with our policies, we need two adults present per class. We are looking for a parent to serve as a classroom assistant for the 4th and 5th-grade Sabbath School class. A lead teacher is already in place, but we need an additional adult to be present in the room. If you are interested or have questions, please call the church office.
